TruBooker
TruBooker is a digital transportation platform designed to simplify how people discover and book reliable bus travel.
OBJECTIVE
The goal of this project was to design a cohesive digital experience across multiple users — passengers, drivers, and connectors — while ensuring that each interface remained simple, intuitive, and easy to navigate.
My role involved designing the passenger app, driver app, connector platform, and the marketing landing page to create a connected ecosystem that supports booking, trip management, and driver onboarding.
CHALLENGES
Designing for multiple user types presented several challenges. Each user group had different goals and expectations, which required careful structuring of information and workflows.
Passengers needed a seamless way to search routes, compare transport options, and book trips quickly. Drivers required tools to manage bookings, verify passengers, track trips, and monitor earnings without unnecessary complexity. Connectors, who help onboard drivers to the platform, needed visibility into referrals and commission tracking.
Balancing these different needs while maintaining a consistent experience across the ecosystem was a key design challenge.
SOLUTION
For passengers, the app focuses on quick trip discovery, clear route information, and an intuitive booking process. Users can easily view trip details, compare options, and complete bookings within a streamlined flow.
For drivers, the interface was designed to support trip management and operational efficiency. Features include itinerary planning, passenger verification, real-time trip updates, and earnings tracking.
For connectors, the platform enables agents to onboard drivers, monitor referral activity, and track commissions through a structured dashboard.
